BRISBANE Mt Cootha
Lost or LUXURY ........................ What a ChOICE?
For the energetic…..
When: Saturday 20th March
Where: J C Slaughter Falls Car Park (@ the base of Mount Coot-tha)
(Turn off Sir Samuel Griffiths Drive)
Summit Track 1.9km (30 minutes)
This track leads from J.C. Slaughter Falls Picnic Area to Mt Coot-tha Lookout (near the roundabout).
Grade: Moderate, steep over short sections
Habitat: Open eucalypt forest
Must: Experience the view from the lookout
Time: 9.15 for 9.30 departure
Cost: Blood, Sweat and Leeches (only kidding J)
Parking: Meet at the Car park and hopefully get a lift back to
carpark from the people who don’t walk.
Or IF savouring a Devonshire Tea is enough enjoyment…..
Meet us at the top at the look out and enjoy refreshments at the Cafe at
10.30am (Devonshire tea $7.50 at Cafe)
