Mouse Trap Theatre, “The House by the Lake” A Thriller by Hugh Mills, a brother & sister plot to murder their other unlikeable brother. Brisbane Tram Museum: 12:15pm to 4:00pm. Cost is $13 for Adults, $10 for Seniors, please pay on entry. 50 Tramway Street, Ferny Grove. Take a ride on Brisbane’s preserved trams in a bushland setting, inspect restored trams and other reminders of that era. Take a picnic lunch, cold drinks only available. Sat 25^th Aug

Bus trip to Kingaroy: We will be leaving Westfield Strathpine at 8am at the usual place, travelling to Kingaroy & the beautiful Bunya Mountains. This is a lovely neck of the woods; we will be back at Strathpine by 4.30pm give or take an hour. $15 for non members, $13 for members. NB. We will cancel in really bad wet weather.  Please book with Gail (3285 2567) and phone her early on Saturday morning if the weather is doubtful.

Let’s Go Go-Kart Racing at the BIG KART TRACK 1pm, 2310 Steve Irwin Way, Landsborough. The track is 1.2 km in length and 8 metres wide. Put your wits against big sweeping bends, challenging chicanes, hair-raising hairpins and supercharged straights. RSVP by Saturday 18^th August. Cost is from $40. Contact Helen on 3343 7978.

Weekend at Lilyponds Camping. Choose to stay at a campsite or in the Lodge for $35 per night. Camp Kitchen and lounge available, This is an avocado orchard, so you can help yourself to the fruit. Contact Gail on 3285 2567 to book. RSVP by Friday 10^th August.

Christmas Break-Up: 8^th December at Sizzlers Strathpine.
